Omo-Ara – Olowgbogboro

Omo-Ara is a spoken word poet, short story writer and scriptwriter based in Abuja. He owns and runs the Absolute Poetry, a growing registered poetry foundation that is known for convening literary events in the city of Abuja.

The spoken word poem Olowgbogboro was written with Nathaniel Bassey’s ‘Olowogbogboro’ in mind. It may pass as a cover of the song but also takes a motivational angle. It seeks to draw people to the fact that God is still in the business of changing our odd stories, and in the times we are; where everyone is drinking Sniper, I hope this message reaches the depressed (whether they believe in God or not).
